A native Miamian, Brian Stack has witnessed South Florida’s transformation from vacation haven to international business center. His practice focuses on the litigation and counseling needs of a multinational clientele, with a concentration in complex commercial and civil matters, domestic and international arbitration, and appellate matters.
Mr. Stack has been licensed to practice law in the State of Florida since 1985. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the bars of the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.
Mr. Stack has served as first chair and second chair in jury and non-jury trials in state and federal court, argued appeals before the state and federal appellate courts, arbitrated disputes before the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (“ICC”) and the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), served as a mediator in multiple cases, and served as an arbitrator in AAA and American Health Lawyers Association arbitration proceedings. He litigates throughout the State of Florida, but principally in Miami Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. He has testified as an expert witness on attorneys’ fees and on standard of care issues in multiple state and federal actions.
Mr. Stack has served as an adjunct faculty member at St. Thomas University School of Law teaching trial practice and lectured at seminars on various legal topics.
He has served on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida Ad Hoc Advisory Committee on Rules and Procedures since 2009. Mr. Stack has been consistently recognized by Martindale-Hubbell as an “AV Preeminent” attorney, recognized as a “Legal Elite” by Florida Trend magazine and was inducted in 2022 into Florida Trend’s Legal Elite “Hall of Fame,” recognized as a “Super Lawyer” in the State of Florida by Florida Super Lawyers, and recognized as a “Top Lawyer” by the South Florida Legal Guide.
